Health Shops in Thomson Plaza

Walking aimlessly about in Thomson Plaza the other day, I was surprised to see 2 "Health" shops that I'd not seen before.


Now, Thomson Plaza is home to a number of shops which sell "health" stuff - Guardian Pharmacy, GNC, Watsons, Unity Pharmacy, Nature's Farm, a Chinese herbalist & also bird's nest stand, and not forgetting of course, Fairprice Finest which stocks a nice range of organic stuff from dried fruit & grains, to prepared food & juices to fresh/frozen raw produce.

These shops sell an unusual range of stuff like folk medicines, "health" books, essential oils, dried herbs & flowers (I only recognized lavender & camomile), Bach flower essences, algae soaps like Eumora, water "ionizers", air purifiers, acne lamps & all sorts of other gadgets.  16oz of Chia seeds for $47. Hmm, quite interesting to poke about in the shops, but just don't be taken in by those expensive water filter stuff!
